How hard is it to escape your dream,
When nothing is as real as it seems?

You want to open your eyes,
Leave behind the horror and cries.

But sadly you’ve got to wait,
Sometimes dreams are stronger than fate.

Luke, an ordinary kid, is having an extraordinary nightmare. He finds himself trapped in a strange factory, with armed guards at every exit. Inevitably, he manages to escape – but are there worse things lurking outside in the dark forest than factory guards?

I am an Environment guy. I like to model environments, texture and light ‘em finally. Simulations is something more I would like to get into and seems I am reaching there as I have discovered the power of another great 3D software ‘Blender’. I made an Animated 3D Commercial with another group mate of mine when I was in University and scored the highest. This time after 2 years I came up with a story and I am on my way with an amazing team to produce an Animated Short. I am really excited about it because I am working on Blender for the first time, have achieved great results so far and heading on with the process. What surprises me the most are the Blender Artists, they are awesome people, they want to help and get involved in great projects. I am glad to know some of them, we are a team now and collaborating well. Being a 3D Artist I am looking forward to deliver a great piece of art to the Blender Community and all Artists around the world.

I’ve been intrigued with 3D since my freshman year of high school where I also began engineering courses. This of course was a long time ago in the 90′s. Since then I have continued my pursuit of 3D software and ultimately found Blender about 4 years ago. My experience includes using 3D software such as Blender for commercial purposes like architectural visualizations and land planning. I am also proficient in Autocad Civil 3D, Sculptris and Gimp. I am a true student of nature and enjoy organic modeling, texturing and lighting.

I eat sleep and breathe characters. I am self taught. I started out doing Archi Viz then moved into characters as soon as I could. I have been doing 3D for about 5 years now and have been doing characters for 2 years. I am currently starting my own digital character production company.

After using commercial 3D softwares for years, I found Blender, and since 2008 I use it professionally. I love visual effects, videogames, digital painting... and currently I'm working as a freelancer designer and running www.blendtuts.com, a blender tutorials website.

I started my experience in 3d using 3ds max. Then move to blender 3d since 3 years ago. Now, almost all of my work done in blender I’m very passionate about CG and my goal is to create the best art I can working alongside a talented team.

When I was a kid I often played with my hands making as if them were puppets. The things really didn't changed much, because now I work with 3D puppets like I was that kid.
I can say that working as character animator is like back to the past when I was playing with my fingers or with those toys.
Character animation for me, is not simply move things... Is make that things seems to have a soul.

I love making things move. :D
I loved it so much, as a kid I made flip books on almost all of my notebooks. Ever since, the joy of breathing life into an object has been my addiction.

I am a film guy. I’m into cinematography, photography and compositing. I started doing film projects back in 2007 during my college days, and then i got interested with VFX after a while, so i also got into teaching myself after effects for almost 4 years. So I pretty much got into compositing after that. Then i thought if i wanted to go on with the VFX career, i should try out 3D Modeling/Animation. And now, I am currently studying 3D in a uni. And so far, I really like Modeling and I hope to get better at it.

My experience with 3D started in 2009. I was bored from playing videogames so I got to try 3D Software and I was just fascinated by the huge amount of possibilities in Blender. After that I spent lots of time with blender… every day many hours. It took me just two years of training until I could join a movie project for the first time. It wasn’t much to do for me but it gave me lots of confidence. And like this my career went on. Right now this is the project I work on and I’m glad to have got the chance to work with such an amazing team.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve loved both art and computers. I spent a good few years searching for some way that I could combine the two – this obviously started with “drawing” some strange stick men in MS-Paint, which progressed eventually to crude photo-manipulation in Gimp. After that was a few years of mostly traditional art, which included some rather gruesome stop-motion animation with prestic/blu-tack characters. I eventually sought for a way to make some interesting digital title sequences for these stop-motion animations, which is when I was introduced to Blender. Commonly enough for that time, I found the interface very strange and disorientating, so I abandoned Blender for a good year or so. For some reason, I picked it up again in the 2.5 beta stage, and found it not so difficult to use after all. About 3 years later, here I am today – working with such an impressive team to make the work of art I’ve always dreamed of.

I love art…any type of art. I believe that art fills up the spaces in ones life, I know it has filled so many of mine. The main reason why I got into 3D was because I couldn’t afford a camera and a bunch of actors to bring my creative dreams to life. I am still obsessed with photography…even without a camera. Ever since I started using Blender in 2010, I’ve been able to bring my ideas closer to life. I am self-taught. I’d like to mention how lucky I feel in being able to work with these talented artists on such an awesome short film. I’m grateful.

I always enjoyed creating things. No matter if with wood, paper or any other material. A couple of years ago I discovered blender. Attracted, by the endless possibilities, I started learning the program. Finally I reached the point, on which I can take part, on my first group project. At the moment I am best at modelling and texturing, but I also plan to learn animation in the future. I am very happy, to be able to work with this Team, and I think I will learn a lot of new things during this project. I will try to give my best.

I’ve been working with Blender since 2007. At this time I developed an intense activity in the modeling of combat vehicles and other models. I worked steadily with the render engine Cycles and now I have been posting tutorials on how to model in Blender. Now I am very excited in participating in this demonstration project and the community to the possibilities of Blender. Always wishing to participate in a project of this nature and in the end it has come true.

Composing and designing websites has always been a great passion of mine. I truly enjoy finding new ways to push my web design skills to new limits and this project has given me that opportunity. Any website that complements a film should be respectful of and reflect the tone of the movie. This is why I have chosen to develop the site with more advanced effects and features that can complement the nature of this short. In addition, I also have been using Blender for a few years and love to incorporate the technologies capable of the software with my web projects by rendering graphics that fit the theme of the site. I enjoy working with 3D as well as programming and with this project I get the best of both worlds.

Music and sound has always been an essential part of my life. I always listen for interesting sounds and tones around me. I’m an Apple Certified Professional in Logic Pro and I have worked on a variety of visual and sonic projects in the past. I’m looking forward to working with great teams and great people on various projects; through which I can learn and experience something new.

I have been composing music for a good deal of years now. Likewise, for the past two, maybe three years, I have been doing online scoring for people. I look forwards to working with everyone and making music for this project.
